In a remarkable act of compassion and commitment to social impact, the President of the Brave Women Progressive Association, Evangelist Matilda Farinde, visited the Ilesa Correctional Centre where she donated essential food items, beverages, and other relief materials to the inmates.
During the humanitarian visit, Evangelist Farinde took time not only to offer material support but also to deliver a heartfelt message of hope and spiritual encouragement to the incarcerated individuals. Addressing the inmates with empathy and sincerity, she urged them not to lose hope despite their current circumstances.
"You are not forgotten," she said. "No matter what you are going through, God has not abandoned you. This is just a phase. With faith, repentance, and the right support, your story can change for the better."
Evangelist Farinde emphasized that her outreach was divinely inspired, stating that she was led by God to minister to those in the correctional system and offer both spiritual and practical assistance.
