The Igbaye Progressive Alliance (IPA) under the chairmanship of Adesoji Aderemi has thank President Tinubu for the appointment of an illustrious son of the town, Pharm. Gboyega Oladele as the Commissioner, representing Osun State in the Revenue Mobilisation and fiscal commission (RAMFAC).
While speaking with Adulawo news on phone after Senate President, Godswill Akpabio made the announcement on the floor of the Senate, Aderemi said, the town is grateful to Mr President, most especially the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola.
"Yes, I received the news with excitement, we have been waiting for the announcement since about two months, we are very happy that, finally he has been given a pass mark. When a son got this type of opportunity twice, what it means is that, such a son is a good ambassador of his father" Aderemi said.
He said, with the announcement, there's no one in Igbaye that will not rally behind Mr President and Minister Oyetola, "Igbaye is a one big family, we will show our appreciation to the President when the time comes, he has honoured us and we will also honour him" He said with excitement.
Gboyega Olade, a pharmacist was nominated by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in a letter read today by Senate President, Godswill Akpabio on the floor of the Senate. After his confirmation, he will serve another five-year term
