The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has in its possession the list of players who will represent the team in the upcoming world cup qualifiers playoff in Morocco, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.
Nigeria will begin the quest to pick one of the available tickets to represent Africa at the Intercontinental playoff on the 13th of November with a game against Gabon.
The winner of that game will face the winner of the other semi final between Cameroon and Congo Dr in the final. The list of players for the mini tournament is yet to be made public by the NFF.
” Chelle has submitted the list already but he hasn’t given NFF the permission to make it public yet. I think he is checking and also waiting on the fitness update on some players before making a final decision on his players”, a chieftain of the NFF said.
” There is also the talk about an enlarged squad of 25 players for the tournament rather than the usual 22 or 23 players. As soon as Chelle gives go ahead it will be made public”.
