A legal practitioner, Barrister Abimbola Amusan, has congratulated Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) on his victory at the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary election, describing his emergence as a reflection of widespread confidence in his leadership.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists on Saturday, Amusan said Oyebamiji’s victory affirmed the trust reposed in him by party members and stakeholders, noting that the outcome of the primary further strengthened internal democracy within the APC.
He praised Oyebamiji’s dedication to public service, consistency, and leadership credentials, adding that his political journey has been marked by discipline, humility and a deep understanding of governance, which aligns with the aspirations of the people of Osun State.
“This victory is not only a personal milestone for Asiwaju Oyebamiji, but also a collective statement of hope and renewed confidence in the APC’s vision for a better and more prosperous Osun State."
Amusan, who is also an aspirant for the House of Representatives seat for Ayedaade/Irewole/Isokan Federal Constituency, pledged his full support for the APC flagbearer ahead of the 2026 governorship election.
He said he would continue to mobilise grassroots support, promote party unity, and work with other stakeholders to ensure the party’s success at all levels.
He also expressed confidence that an Oyebamiji-led administration would deliver inclusive development, sustainable growth, and people-centred governance if elected, stressing that the APC remains well-positioned to present a compelling alternative to the electorate.
"As the journey continues, I urge all party faithful to rally behind your candidacy with renewed vigour and a shared sense of purpose. Together, we can consolidate the gains of our party, deepen public trust, and present a compelling vision that resonates with the hopes and expectations of the good people of Osun State.
"Once again, I congratulate you on this well-earned victory and wish you resounding success in the forthcoming election. I look forward to working closely with you to deliver a stronger, more united, and forward-looking Osun State," the statement concluded.
