A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State and frontline grassroots mobiliser and 2027 House of Representatives Hopeful for Ifelodun, Boripe and Odo-Otin Federal Constituency, Hon. Eniade Francis Damilare, has congratulated Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) on his emergence as the gubernatorial candidate of the APC for the August 8, 2026 governorship election in Osun State.
In a congratulatory statement, Eniade described Oyebamiji’s emergence as a victory for merit, competence, and party unity, noting that the choice reflects the collective resolve of party stakeholders to present a candidate with proven capacity, intelligence, and an unblemished record of service to the people of Osun State.
Eniade specially commended all co-aspirants in the keenly contested primary for their exemplary display of sportsmanship and statesmanship, stressing that their sacrifices, maturity, and commitment to party supremacy have further strengthened the APC ahead of the decisive governorship contest.
He also expressed profound appreciation to Bola Ahmed Tinubu, President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, for his charismatic leadership, fatherly guidance, and unwavering commitment to democratic values, which continue to inspire confidence and stability within the party across the country.
The APC chieftain further praised the former Governor and incumbent Minister for Marine and Blue Economy HE. Adegboyega Oyetola, CON, for his exemplary leadership of the party in Osun State, describing him as a pillar of unity whose calm disposition and strategic insight have kept the party focused and cohesive.
Eniade lauded members of the APC across the state for their firm belief in the party and the overwhelming confidence reposed in Oyebamiji, noting that the enthusiasm and loyalty of party faithfuls remain the APC’s greatest strength.
He also applauded the Agba Osun caucus and the State Working Committee for their confidence in the credentials, intelligence, and capacity of AMBO, describing their decision as a courageous and well-considered step in the best interest of Osun State.
Eniade therefore charged all APC members, leaders, and supporters to close ranks, remain united, and demonstrate total commitment towards the success of the party at the August 8, 2026 governorship election, stressing that only a united APC can deliver victory and usher Osun State into a new era of purposeful governance under Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji.
