The Labour Party under the National leadership of Bar Julius Abure and Alh Farouk Umar Ibrahim has successfully conducted its ward Congresses in all the 236 wards across the three senatorial districts of Ogun State
The exercise was conducted yesterday Tuesday December 2nd 2025 with Dr Ayodele Olorunfemi who was the Deputy National Chairman South and Chairman Ogun state Congress Committee and Dr Abayomi Arabambi, the National Vice Chairman South West and Secretary Ogun State Congress committee
The exercise was also monitored by INEC Electoral Officers in all the 20 Local Government areas of Ogun state
According to Notices of Congress approved by the National Executive Council (NEC) and acknowledged by INEC HEADQUARTERS, the Local Government Congresses will hold simultaneously on Thursday December 4th and State Congress on Saturday December 6th 2025 holding at IWE IROYIN ( NUJ) State Secretariat, Abeokuta
Also our correspondent gathered that the Screening of all Eligible candidates for State Executives positions for the state Congress will hold at IWE IROYIN on Friday the 5th day of December 2025
Our correspondent also monitored the congress where various ward executives and five (5) Ex-Officio’s were elected.
