Dr. Abdullah Adeyanju Binuyo, former Deputy Chief of Staff during the administration of former Osun State Governor, Mr. Gboyega Oyetola, has congratulated Asiwaju Munirudeen Oyebamiji on his successful emergence as the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate.
In a congratulatory statement made available to journalists, Dr. Binuyo described Oyebamiji’s emergence as a reflection of the collective decision of the party and a demonstration of the maturity and unity within the Osun APC.
He also commended the conduct of the primary election, applauding the leadership of the Edo State Governor, who chaired the Primary Election Committee, as well as the Ondo State Governor for providing effective oversight that ensured a transparent, peaceful, and credible process.
According to Dr. Binuyo, the orderly manner in which the exercise was conducted has further strengthened confidence in the internal democratic processes of the APC.
The former Deputy Chief of Staff equally praised other aspirants for displaying commendable sportsmanship and commitment to party unity, noting that their conduct before, during, and after the primary has helped to position the party for greater success.
Dr. Binuyo expressed optimism that with unity and collective support, the APC would be well-positioned for victory in the forthcoming political contest, while wishing Asiwaju Munirudeen Oyebamiji success in the task ahead.
