In furtherance of its enduring commitment to education, child welfare, and community development, the Great Osogbo Daughters’ Association on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, donated educational materials and welfare items to selected schools and a child care centre in Osogbo as part of the presentation of its 2025 Annual Community Projects.
The annual initiative, which has remained a cornerstone of the association’s community service efforts since its inception, is designed to positively impact lives and support sustainable development within Osogbo and its surrounding communities.
Beneficiaries of this year’s outreach include Timehin Grammar School, Isale Osun, Osogbo; Adenle Grammar School, Ayetoro, Osogbo; and the Child Care Centre, Testing Ground, Osogbo. The donated items comprised essential educational materials and welfare packages aimed at enhancing learning conditions and supporting the wellbeing of pupils and children under care.
Speaking during the presentation, representatives of the association reaffirmed GODA’s unwavering dedication to empowering young people through education and strengthening social support systems for vulnerable children. The association noted that investing in education and child welfare remains a vital pathway to long-term community growth and development.
The Great Osogbo Daughters’ Association expressed sincere appreciation to all stakeholders, partners, and members of the public whose continued support has made the annual community projects a success.
