The Executive Chairman of Osogbo Local Government, Hon. Saheed M. Onibonokuta, alongside his administration, paid a condolence visit to Hon. Adelakun Adeoye following the passing of his mother-in-law.
The visit was marked by a solemn atmosphere as the Chairman and his administration expressed their heartfelt sympathies to Hon. Adeoye and his family over the painful loss. Hon. Onibonokuta, speaking on behalf of the delegation, described the death as a great loss and prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased. He also asked God to grant the bereaved family the strength, comfort, and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
He noted that moments like this call for unity, compassion, and genuine support among leaders and colleagues, emphasizing that the Osogbo Local Government remains one family bound together in both joyful and difficult times.
In his response, Hon. Adelakun Adeoye expressed sincere appreciation to the Executive Chairman and members of the administration for the visit, prayers, and words of encouragement. He stated that the show of love and solidarity meant a lot to him and his family during the period of mourning.
