A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Amitolu Shittu, has congratulated Uba Sani on his appointment as Renewed Hope Ambassador and Deputy Director-General in charge of Outreach, Engagement, and Mobilization.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Osogbo, Amitolu described the appointment as well-deserved, noting that it is a recognition of Uba Sani’s long-standing commitment to grassroots mobilisation, democratic ideals, and party building.
He recalled their days of activism under the late legal icon, Chief Gani Fawehinmi, SAN, who fondly nicknamed Uba Sani the “International Organiser” while dubbing him (Amitolu) the “International Mobilizer.”
“Those appellations were not mere nicknames,” he said. “They reflected Chief Gani’s deep understanding of our strengths, capacities, and unwavering dedication to the struggle for justice and good governance.”
Amitolu expressed confidence that Uba Sani would bring his wealth of experience, organisational acumen, and mobilization skills to bear in advancing the Renewed Hope agenda across the country.
He wished the Kaduna State Governor a successful tenure in his new national assignment, describing him as “a tested comrade, dependable ally, and true progressive.”
