A prominent Executive Member of the Osun State Internal Revenue Service (OIRS), Hon. Prince Bola Oyebowale, FCA, ACTI, MMP, has declared that no amount of propaganda or misinformation from opposition elements can derail what he described as the divinely ordained and people-driven victory of Ademola Adeleke in the forthcoming August 8 gubernatorial election in Osun State.
Speaking with journalists over the weekend, Prince Oyebowale expressed unwavering confidence in the popularity and performance record of Governor Adeleke, stating that the will of the people of Osun State remains firmly aligned with the Governor’s continued leadership.
According to him, recent political gatherings and media narratives orchestrated by the opposition party, particularly the All Progressives Congress (APC), amount to what he described as “kangaroo programs” designed to mislead their members and the general public with unfounded claims and distorted information.
“These desperate attempts to spread falsehoods and propaganda cannot stand the test of truth,” Prince Oyebowale stated. “The people of Osun are politically conscious and discerning. They can clearly differentiate between performance and empty rhetoric.”
He emphasized that since assuming office, Governor Adeleke has embarked on transformative projects across critical sectors of the state’s economy, including infrastructure development, workers’ welfare, education, healthcare, and revenue reforms. He noted that these efforts have yielded tangible results visible in communities across Osun State.
Prince Oyebowale further highlighted that workers and civil servants in the state are experiencing improved welfare and prompt attention to their needs under the current administration. He added that the renewed focus on transparency, accountability, and grassroots development has restored public confidence in governance.
“The contrast between the present administration and the previous government is evident,” he said. “Where there was stagnation, we now see progress. Where there was uncertainty, we now have direction and stability.”
He reaffirmed that the electorate in Osun State is wiser and more informed than ever before, stressing that attempts to manipulate public opinion through misinformation would ultimately fail.
“As August 8 approaches, it is clear that the people of Osun State stand solidly behind Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke. No amount of propaganda can overturn the will of God and the democratic choice of the people,” he concluded.
Prince Oyebowale called on residents to remain peaceful, law-abiding, and focused on sustaining the developmental strides achieved under Governor Adeleke’s administration.
