The LAUTECH Muslim Graduates Association (LAUMGA), Osogbo Branch, under the leadership of its Chairman, Comrade Owolawi Abduljeleel (popularly known as Ojsuccess), has extended warm congratulations to the Muslim Ummah on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen in Osogbo, the Chairman of LAUMGA Comrade Owolawi Abduljeleel, described Ramadan as a sacred period of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, sacrifice, and deep reflection. The Association emphasized that the holy month presents a unique opportunity for Muslims to strengthen their relationship with Allah, intensify acts of worship, and promote values of compassion, generosity, and unity within the society.
Comrade Owolawi Abduljeleel noted that beyond abstaining from food and drink, Ramadan symbolizes a total commitment to righteousness, piety, and devotion.
He urged Muslims to utilize the blessed month to fervently pray for peace, stability, and tranquility in the nation, stressing that collective supplication and sincere repentance can bring about positive transformation in the land.
The Chairman also commended members of LAUMGA Osogbo Branch for their steadfastness, unwavering support, and continued commitment to upholding the pillars of Islam. He appreciated their dedication to promoting Islamic values and fostering unity among Muslim graduates in Osogbo and beyond.
Furthermore, he applauded the National Executive Council and the State Executive Council of the Association for their continuous guidance, cooperation, and support, which have significantly contributed to the progress and impact of the Osogbo Branch.
While wishing all Muslims a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan, Comrade Owolawi Abduljeleel prayed that Allah (SWT) accepts the fasting and other acts of Ibadah as deeds of worship and grants everyone the strength to complete the month in good health and faith.
LAUMGA Osogbo Branch reaffirmed its commitment to promoting unity, faith-based development, and community advancement, encouraging members and the wider Muslim community to embody the true spirit of Ramadan throughout and beyond the holy month.
