The House of Representatives Aspirant for Osogbo/Olorunda/Irepodun/Orolu Federal Constituency, Engr. Akogun Raji Abioye (ARA), has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across the federal constituency and Osun State on the commencement of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his goodwill message, Engr. Abioye described Ramadan as a sacred period of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, sacrifice, and deep reflection. He urged Muslim faithful to seize the opportunity of the holy month to intensify prayers for sustained peace, unity, and tranquility within the constituency and the state at large.
According to him, collective prayers and righteous conduct during Ramadan would further strengthen the bonds of harmony and mutual coexistence among residents.
The aspirant emphasized the need for continued peaceful cohabitation among people of different faiths and political affiliations, noting that development can only thrive in an atmosphere of stability and understanding.
He encouraged the Muslim Ummah to pray fervently for the progress and prosperity of Osun State, particularly as the state navigates important political milestones.
Engr. Abioye also called on Muslims and other well-meaning residents of the constituency to support the governorship ambition of the All Progressives Congress (APC) flagbearer, Bola Munirudeen Oyebamiji, expressing confidence in his capacity to deliver purposeful leadership and good governance for the people of Osun State.
Furthermore, Engr. Abioye appealed for support for his aspiration to represent Osogbo, Olorunda, Irepodun, and Orolu Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections.
He reaffirmed his commitment to providing effective representation, attracting meaningful development, and ensuring that the constituency enjoys the true dividends of democracy through quality legislation and responsive leadership.
He concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a spiritually fulfilling Ramadan, praying that the Almighty Allah accepts their fasting, supplications, and acts of charity, and grants lasting peace and prosperity to Osogbo Federal Constituency and Osun State as a whole.
