"I started thanking God for my popularity in 1985, when I was still in Ilorin. I did Sule Mei Suya after I returned to secondary school. They showed me on TV during one of the festive days. I stepped out to see how it was received.
I was so excited that I didn’t eat the chicken we cooked until the third day. They would ask me questions about NTA with chicken served in front of me, and I ate. I couldn’t sleep at midnight because of stomach pain."
Saheed Balogun also said that Allwell contacted him on Christmas Day to talk about her plans for the new year.
He said she was excited about starting a new movie in January.
She was also getting ready to organize a health seminar in February. Sadly, she passed away on December 27 before she could carry out those plans.
Balogun explained that she had promised to give him a role in her upcoming movie as his New Year gift. They had already talked about the project and were making plans for the January shoot.
She greeted him on Christmas Day, and when he jokingly asked for his New Year gift, she told him it would be a role in her movie. They both looked forward to working together. Sadly, just two days after Christmas, God called her home.
