As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections, an aspirant for the Osogbo/Olorunda/Irepodun/Orolu Federal Constituency seat, Akogun Raji Abioye, is set to host a large Ramadan program aimed at supporting residents and members of the community during the holy fasting period. He will also use the avenue to draw support for Osun APC Governorship Candidate in August 15th 2026 Election Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji and his Running mate Aree Benjamin Adereti and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu re-election in 2027.
The event, scheduled to hold tomorrow, Saturday, March 14, 2026, will take place at Erin-Osun Hall, in Erin-Osun where thousands of people are expected to gather for a spiritually enriching and community-focused gathering.
According to organizers, the Ramadan program will bring together members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), community leaders, and residents from Osogbo, Olorunda, Irepodun, and Orolu local government areas. The event will feature lectures from respected Islamic scholars who will deliver teachings drawn from the Holy Qur’an and highlight the spiritual significance and lessons of Ramadan.
The scholars are expected to emphasize values such as compassion, charity, patience, and unity core principles associated with the holy month observed by Muslims around the world.
Beyond the spiritual engagement, the outreach program will also include the distribution of food items to more than 1,000 people in attendance.
