A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Ila Federal Constituency, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun,has extended his heartfelt greetings to the Muslim community in his federal constituency on the completion of this year Ramadan.
In a statement issued from his media office and make available to newsmen, he said this sacred festival signifies the completion of the holy month, a time of deep spiritual devotion, faith renewal , and giving to the needy .
Dr. Olaonipekun also stressed the Muslims should not deviate from the lessons and teachings of the just completed Ramadan and they should not go back to their old ways of life.
He emphasized that Eid al-Fitr festival is the time to rejoice in the spiritual renewal achieved and express gratitude to Allah for preserving their lives.
This year,Dr. Olaonipekun encourages individuals to reflect on the lessons learned during Ramadan and to carry forward the values of compassion, empathy, and generosity into their daily lives.
Dr. Olaonipekun appealed to Nigerians and Osun indigenes to use festive period to pray for President Bola Tinubu, GCFR H E Dr. Adegboyega Oyetola and other officials for God divine intervention and also pray that HOD should restore peace to the nation.
As we celebrate Eid al-Fitr, let us remember that this is campaign period and we should ensure we campaign for Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), and his Deputy Aare Benjamin Adereti who are the candidates of the All Progressives Congress in the state and see to their victory at the poll come August 15, he wish everyone a Eid that will bring peace, happiness, and harmony.
