A leading aspirant for the IBO Federal Constituency in Osun State, Hon. Damilare Francis Eniade, has extended warm greetings to Muslim faithful across the constituency and the state at large on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr.
In a goodwill message marking the end of Ramadan, Eniade prayed that the celebration would usher in joy, peace, and harmony for all residents within and beyond the IBO Federal Constituency, regardless of religious affiliation.
He said, “I wish all Muslim faithful a joyous Eid al-Fitr. May this special occasion strengthen the bonds of peace, unity, and mutual respect among us. Let us continue to cherish our diversity and promote harmony, tolerance, and understanding.”
Eniade further emphasized the importance of shared values, adding, “May our collective commitment to compassion, forgiveness, and unity guide us in our daily lives. Happy Eid al-Fitr.”
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, prayers, and almsgiving observed by Muslims worldwide.
The Federal Government of Nigeria had earlier declared Thursday, March 19, 2026, and Friday, March 20, 2026, as public holidays to commemorate the celebration.
