Binuyo Sympathises With Ijabe Over The Passing of Onijabe

Dr. Abdullah Adeyanju Binuyo has expressed his heartfelt condolences to the people of Ijabe, Odo-Otin Local Government Area and the royal family over the passing of His Royal Majesty, Oba Felix Olaniyan Oyelade II, the Onijabe of Ijabe Land.

In a condolence message, Binuyo described the passing of the revered monarch as a profound loss, noting that Oba Oyelade II lived a life of service, humility and commitment to the peace, unity and development of his people.

He described the late Kabiyesi as a humble, God-fearing and fair-minded traditional ruler who remained deeply committed to the progress of Ijabe throughout his reign.

According to Binuyo, the most fitting tribute to the late monarch is not only to mourn his passing, but to preserve and build upon the legacy of peace, unity and community development he championed.

He noted that the late Onijabe had the privilege of witnessing the emergence and accomplishments of many distinguished sons and daughters of Ijabe, including former Osun State Commissioner and accomplished journalist Hon. Funke Egbemode; businessman Alhaji Tajudeen Abioye; and seasoned politician Hon. Tayo Adegoke (Tayo Ijabe), among several others whose contributions continue to bring honour to the community.

Binuyo said the achievements of Ijabe’s sons and daughters reflect the strength and promise of the community that the late monarch served and nurtured.

Prince Dr. Binuyo prayed that Almighty God would comfort the royal family, the people of Ijabe and the entire Odo-Otin community, and grant them the strength to bear the loss.

He urged the people to remain united and continue to uphold the values of peace, service, progress and responsible leadership for which the late Onijabe will be remembered.

May the soul of His Royal Majesty rest in peace, and may his legacy endure through generations.
