As political activities ahead of the 2027 general elections gather momentum, Hon. Prince Akinyode Abidemi Oyewusi, the Deputy Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly representing Ife North, has received an endorsement for re-election from Hon. Prince Abimbola Ariyo Oyebowale, a Board Member of the Osun State Internal Revenue Service.
Oyebowale, popularly known as “Mandate,” in a statement issued ahead of the elections, called for the re-election of Oyewusi on the platform of the Accord Party, describing him as an experienced legislator whose continued representation would help sustain development efforts in the constituency.
Oyewusi currently serves as Deputy Speaker of the Osun State House of Assembly and represents Ife North State Constituency. Official records of the Osun State House of Assembly list him among members of the current 8th Assembly.
According to Oyebowale, Oyewusi’s tenure has been marked by what he described as progress and “tangible dividends of democracy” in areas including education, economic empowerment, investment, agriculture and infrastructure.
He argued that Ife North needed an active and experienced representative with an understanding of legislative and governmental processes, rather than an untested alternative.
“His continued service ensures we maintain momentum without stalling for a learning curve,” Oyebowale said.
The endorsement also linked Oyewusi’s representation to the administration of Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, saying the lawmaker remained committed to people-oriented service, community development and support for residents.
Oyebowale urged voters to consider what he described as character, capacity, competence and continuity in the 2027 election.
He called on residents to support Oyewusi, popularly known as “Ireyode,” for another term in the Osun State House of Assembly and to vote for the Accord Party.
