Renewed Hope For Elderly Celebrates Vice President Kashim Shettima at 60, Hails His Commitment to National Development


The National Coordinator and Director-General of Renewed Hope for Elderly, Dr. Bode Olaonipekun, has extended warm congratulations to the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, on the occasion of his 60th birthday.

Dr. Olaonipekun, on behalf of the leadership, management, members and beneficiaries of Renewed Hope for Elderly, described the Vice President's attainment of 60 years as a significant milestone worthy of celebration, particularly in recognition of his years of public service and contributions to the development of Nigeria.

He noted that Senator Shettima's journey in public service, from his years as a banker to his tenure as Governor of Borno State and subsequently as Vice President of Nigeria, reflects a career marked by leadership, resilience and dedication to the advancement of the nation.

According to Dr. Olaonipekun, the Vice President's experience and commitment to governance have continued to contribute meaningfully to the administration's efforts to improve the welfare of Nigerians and build a more inclusive and prosperous society.

“On behalf of Renewed Hope for Elderly, I warmly congratulate His Excellency, the Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, GCON, on his 60th birthday. The National Coordinator further expressed optimism that the Vice President would continue to support initiatives aimed at strengthening social protection and creating a society where older persons can live with dignity, security and a renewed sense of purpose.
