A Message of Celebration and Hope
Fellow Nigerians at home and in the diaspora,
On this auspicious occasion of Nigeria's 66th Independence Anniversary, I extend heartfelt congratulations to all citizens of our great nation. As we mark 66 years since breaking free from British colonial rule on October 1, 1960, we reflect on our journey with gratitude, hope, and renewed determination.
Trust in the Renewed Hope Agenda
I call on all Nigerians to believe and trust in the Renewed Hope Agenda of our President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu (PBAT).
The theme of this year's celebration, "From Reforms to Stability: Consolidating Nigeria's Renewed Hope for Shared Prosperity," captures the vision and direction of our administration. Despite the challenges we face—poverty, insecurity, and infrastructure deficits—our nation has made real progress, sustained 27 years of uninterrupted constitutional democracy, and diversified its economy.
Our diversity remains our strength, and our collective determination is the foundation upon which a stronger and more prosperous Nigeria will be built. Let us renew our faith in the country and recommit ourselves to building a united, secure, and prosperous nation.
A Call to Civic Responsibility
To every eligible Nigerian, I urge you: go and pick up your Permanent Voter's Card (PVC) and be ready to vote. Your participation in the democratic process is essential to consolidating our gains and ensuring that the voice of the people continues to shape our nation's destiny.
A Prayer for Our Nation
As we celebrate this milestone, let us pray that Nigeria shall continue to grow in greatness. Let us continue to believe in our nation and embrace peace, unity, and mutual respect. May the Almighty bless our homeland, guide our leaders, and grant us all the wisdom to build the Nigeria of our dreams.
Happy 66th Independence Anniversary!
Long Live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!
Long Live the APC!.
Signed:
*Prince Stephen Adeayo Tella*.
