The entire people of Osogbo, my dear Fathers, Mothers, Brothers, Sisters, Elders, Youths across this constituency, I greet you all with love, with respect, and with the fear of God.
My name is ABDULAHI OLAIYA AYODEJI, popularly known as AYONIC. I am your son, your brother, your child from this soil of Osogbo. I did not come from far away, I was born and bred among you. You have seen me grow. You know my character. You know my family.
Today, I have come to knock on the door of your hearts, with humility, to solicit for your support and your prayers towards my political ambition in our great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), OSOGBO, for the OSUN STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY.
*WHY AM I CONTESTING?*
I am not contesting because I am hungry for power.
I am not contesting because I want title.
I am contesting because I can no longer sit down and watch my people suffer in silence.
I have seen our youths roaming the streets of Oke-Baale, Isale-Osun, Jaleyemi, Alekuwodo without jobs.
I have seen our mothers in Oja-Oba struggling to feed their children.
I have seen our students dropping out because of N10,000 school fees.
I have seen our communities crying for good roads, clean water, and light.
And my heart said to me: AYONIC, it is time to stand up for your people.
*WHAT I AM PROMISING YOU:*
● SINCERE REPRESENTATION.
YOUTH EMPOWERMENT: I will fight for jobs, skill acquisition, and soft loans for our youths.
●EDUCATION: I will stand for free UTME, bursary, and scholarship for our children, just as I have always done.
●WOMEN EMPOWERMENT: Our market women will not be forgotten.
● FACILITATING GOOD ROADS AND INFRASTRUCTURE: I will be a loud voice in the Assembly for Osogbo development.
● OPEN DOOR: My office will be your office. My phone will be your phone. I will never run away from you after election.
*MY PLEA TO YOU:*
My people of Osogbo, I cannot do this alone. No one climbs to the Assembly alone.
I am soliciting for:
- Your Prayers - Pray for me day and night.
- Your Support - Stand with me, talk for me, walk with me.
- Your Votes - When the time comes, in the APC Primary and General Election, remember your son AYONIC.
- Your Voice - Tell your neighbour, tell your family, tell your friend that AYONIC is the man for the job.
I have come with a clean heart. I have come with a youthful energy. I have come with kindness and a philanthropic spirit. I will never betray your trust.
Osogbo is our home. If Osogbo is good, it is good for all of us. Let us build it together.
