2023 Presidency: Nigerians Will Return PDP To Aso Rock - Atiku

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar said that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) will emerge victorious in the forthcoming 2023 presidential election.

He expressed confidence that Nigerians will vote massively for the PDP in 2023 and return the opposition party to Aso Rock in Abuja.


The former PDP presidential candidate in the 2019 elections made this known on Saturday shortly after casting his vote at the party congress in Adamawa State.


Atiku advised members to respect the party’s electoral guideline and the nation’s constitution in the election, noting that democracy can only triumph in a free and fair environment.


The PDP chieftain added that the party would set the pace for others in electoral transparency following the peaceful conduct of the state congress in Adamawa.

“You can see that it (congress) is transparent and credible. Over time, we have developed the spirit of consensus both at the state and national levels.


“I believe these are the basis for the confidence Nigerians now have in the PDP, to vote back the PDP into power,” he said.
