Osun APC Chairman, Lawal visits Shuaib Oyedokun, says his defection to APC is valuable addition that has landed a very big blow on PDP.

As part of efforts aimed at further deepening the unity in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Osun State Chapter, Chairman of the party, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal has paid a private visit on an Elder Statesman and the latest addition to the party, Alhaji Shuaib Afolabi Oyedokun at his Inisa residence.

According to a statement signed by one of the APC Chieftains in Odo Otin local Government Area, Prince Hon. Adeniran Kilomodemo Ibitoye also known as KLM, the APC Chairman described the visit as a personal way of welcoming Baba Oyedokun to the party.

The APC Chairman said the defection of Baba Oyedokun to the Osun APC is valuable addition that has landed a very big blow on the People's Democratic Party (PDP), adding that the APC is excited that the Elder Statesman decided to join the train of the Progressives.

"Today's visit is just like when a son visited his father, definitely, it was interesting to visit Baba at his Inisa residence, and I am very glad that Baba is hale, hearty and happy to receive myself and my entourage who paid him a father-to-son visit, on Baba's recent defection to the most loved party (APC). You can see the turn out and how all members and chieftains of the party welcomed him with open arms."

Meanwhile, Sooko Lawal used the opportunity of his visit to pay homage to the APC leader in Odo Otin, Comrade Poju Odusola in his house at Inisa too.

Sooko and his entourage were received by some leaders, chieftains, and members of the party in the local government and the federal constituency.
