Eid-el-Kabir: Brave Women President, Matilda Farinde Felicitates With Muslims
As Muslims all over the world celebrate this year's Eid-el-Kabir the President of Brave Women Progressive Association, Evang. Matilda Farinde has sent his warm greetings to Muslims in Nigeria.
In a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday in Osogbo, Matilda described Eid-el-Kabir as an important occasion in Islam which among many others demonstrated Allah's benevolence and love for mankind.
He called on the Muslim global community to use the occasion of this year Eid-eil-Kabir to beseech Allah for peaceful co-existence in the country and God's guidance for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to take the country to a greater height in no distant time.
The Brave Women President message reads; "I felicitate with our Muslim brethren all over the world particularly Osun State on this important occasion"
"As we celebrate Eid-ul-Adha today, Let's remind ourselves that fulfillment of a dream with willingness and preparedness to pay the ultimate price through a huge sacrifice was the genesis of this celebration.
As we celebrate this year's festivities, let us remember, that our nation is passing through a critical economic and social reengineering process with severe but crucially needed sacrifice. Our willingness to sacrifice, spirits of tolerance, commitment, and dedication to national unity through love for our fellow beings should be our priority.
Let us extend genuine and sincere LOVE towards the deprived members of our society, the widows, and those in need.
It is not the meat we sacrificed nor the blood of the animals that makes the EID but our renewed intentions towards a better relationship with our creator and fellow human beings.
It is our prayer that Almighty God grant us many more blessed years to celebrate and make us a better individual". Farinde said.
