APC Switzerland Chairman, Applauds Tinubu On Food Import's Taxes Suspension

The All Progressives Congress Chairman Switzerland Chapter, Amb. Adebayo Alfonso, has expressed his appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his bold step in suspending duties, tariffs, and taxes on food imports.


In a statement released on Thursday, Amb. Alfonso praised the Federal government's decision as announced by the Honourable Minister of Agriculture and Food Security, Abubakar Kyari, to grant a 150-day duty-free import window for food commodities


The APC Switzerland Chairman, applauded President Tinubu's leadership, stating that this is the first time a Nigerian leader has demonstrated such passionate concerns for the masses. He noted that the suspension of tariffs on food imports shows that the President deeply understands the struggles of millions of Nigerians and care for them. 


Alfonso advised middle marketers, such as Market men and wcares down line for food vendors not to inflate food prices and urgedMenem to support the e government's efforts to making life easier for the common people. He also called on Nigerians to support President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in fulfilling his Renewed Hope agenda for the country.
