Osun APC Celebrates Customs Boss Adewale Adeniyi At 59



The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has congratulated the 14th Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS),  Alhaji Adewale Adeniyi, on the occasion of his 59th birthday anniversary.


According to the chairman of the Osun State chapter of the APC, Sooko Tajudeen Lawal, in a statement issued by the party's Director of Media and Information, Mogaji Kola Olabisi, today, this birthday anniversary would provide an opportunity for the  Custom's boss to reflect on his remarkable contributions as a distinguished public servant whose commitment to nation-building is both admirable and inspiring.


He described  Adeniyi as a symbol of excellence, professionalism and integrity in the public service. 


In the words of the APC chairman: "Since his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in June 2023, Alhaji Adeniyi has brought innovative reforms and strategic foresight to the Nigeria Customs Service, significantly enhancing its operational efficiency.


"Alhaji Adeniyi’s pivotal role in bolstering Nigeria’s economic security by effectively curbing smuggling activities, enhancing revenue generation, and promoting transparency within the Customs Service and  his ability to combine technical expertise with visionary leadership has earned him the respect and admiration of stakeholders both within and outside the service.


"Beyond his professional accomplishments, Alhaji Adeniyi exemplifies humility, diligence and an unwavering commitment to duty.


"His leadership has not only inspired his colleagues in the Nigeria Customs Service but has also served as a model for other public institutions seeking to attain excellence in governance and service delivery.


"We, in the Osun APC, acknowledge Alhaji Adeniyi’s dedication to upholding economic growth and ensuring the safety of Nigeria’s borders.
