The Otun Babaloja of Sasa Market, Osogbo, and Chairman of Osun State Prayer Warrior, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe, has extended his heartfelt appreciation to the distinguished dignitaries who graced the Nikkah ceremony of his beloved daughter, Abibat Yusuf, and her groom, Abdullah Alawe. The special event took place on Saturday, 8th February 2025, at Iludun, Osogbo.
Alhaji Efe expressed deep gratitude for the presence and support of several prominent figures, including His Royal Majesty, the Ataoja of Osogbo Land, HRM Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, whose royal presence added great prestige to the occasion. Mr. Jimoh Sobowale was also recognized for his generous financial contributions towards the ceremony.
The ceremony was further graced by the Baale of Iludun Community, Chief Afolabi Keji, and Chief David Iyiola, the Babaloja in general, along with Babaloja's Tobalase Group, led by Comrade Abodunrin (Abod), Secretary of the LGEA Osogbo Local Government, and their esteemed members.
In addition, the Ekerin Iyalode of Osogboland, the Iludun Action Committee, led by Chairman Alhaji Lateef Gbadebo, the NSCDC Osogbo Division, as well as the Otun Iyaloja and Eketa Iyaloja of Osogboland, were all recognized for their valuable presence and support. The Sasa Market community, represented by Iyaloja Alhaji Adijat Maruf Sapete, along with the Iyaloja of Ayegbaju Market, Osogbo, Alhaja Omolere, also added to the success of the event.
The Alawe Family of Osogbo and the Oriaye Baruwa family of Osogbo, along with numerous respected Alfa’s, also graced the occasion, contributing to the warmth and joy of the ceremony.
Alhaji Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe concluded his appreciation by acknowledging the collective effort and commitment of everyone who made the Nikkah ceremony a resounding success.
