Tobalase Group Extends Deepest Condolences to Ataoja of Osogboland, Family, and Osogbo Indigenes Over the Passing of Chief Mosobalaje Bolarinwa

 


Tobalase Group expresses its heartfelt condolences to His Royal Majesty Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, Ataoja of Osogboland, the family of High Chief Mosobalaje Bolarinwa, and the indigenes of Osogbo following the sad passing of the revered Ajagunna of Osogboland, High Chief Mosobalaje Popoola Bolarinwa Oderinlo, who passed away on Friday, February 22, 2025, at the age of 91 years.

In a statement released to the media, Mr. Abodunrin (Abod), the Chairman of Tobalase Group and the Secretary of LGEA Osogbo Local Government, conveyed the group's deepest sympathy to the Royal Family, the Bolarinwa family, and the people of Osogbo. The message was further shared by the Public Relations Officer of the Group, Alhaji Chief Kamarudeen Yusuf Efe.

The statement described Chief Bolarinwa's passing as an immense loss to the Osogbo community and beyond. Chief Bolarinwa, a highly respected figure, significantly impacted the lives of countless students and youths in Osogbo. He was the dedicated sponsor of the Mosobalaje Scholarship, a program that has profoundly benefitted indigenous students in the town, enabling them to pursue secondary and tertiary education.

Mr. Abodunrin highlighted that Chief Bolarinwa’s contributions to education and youth development would remain a lasting legacy, underscoring the vital role he played in shaping the futures of many young people. He emphasized the importance of leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered for generations, encouraging others to follow in the footsteps of the late Chief by making meaningful contributions to society.
