Osun 2026: AMBO Grassrooters Inaugurate Unit, Ward Campaign Coordinators in Boripe LGA

As part of their avowed commitment and consistent efforts to ensure the emergence of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji popularly called AMBO as the flag-bearer of the All Progressives Congress, APC in the 2026 Osun governorship election, AMBO Grassrooters Team, on Thursday inaugurated campaign coordinators in all the units and wards to ensure massive mobilization and convincing votes from the nooks and crannies of Boripe Local Government Area in the state.

Recall that AMBO Grassroots mobilizers have been inaugurating coordinators across the state as part of effort to create awareness, reinvigorate, sensitize, enlighten and strengthen the party structures in order to return APC government come 2026.

The team has earlier inuagurated AMBO campaign coordinators in Ila Local Government, Ede-South Local Government, Irewole Local Government, Isokan Local Government and Olorunda Local Government.

The inauguration has in attendance and consent of the leaders of the party led by the overall APC leader in Boripe Local Government and former lawmaker, Barrister Bello Osuolale as well as: Alhaji Kareem Afolabi; Hon. Adebayo Adeniran; Alhaji Sulaimon Aderemi; Alhaji Yunus Sobalaje; Prince Adebayo Adeleke; Alhaji Okunola Folorunso; Elder Debo Ajeigbe; Hon. Biodun Idowu Ismail; Alhaji Rasak Oyediran; Elder Adisa Adeyemo; Elder Michael Omolaja; Alhaji Kayode Ogunwale; Elder Yemisi Ibitoye; Hon. Joseph Akinyemi; Hon. Oye Adebayo; Chief Peter Adewoyin; Hon. Gbenga Adewole; Prince Leke Abidoye and Elder Taiwo Agboola. 

Others are: Boripe Local Government Chairman, Hon. Sikiru Odebunmi; Boripe Local Government APC Chairman, Prince Mufutau Omogboye; Alhaji Hammed Omoniyi; Hon. Adebayo Adeniran; Hon. Kayode Ayantoke; Hon. Isaac Gbegbin; Hon. Fabunmi Sunday; Hon. Basiru Omoniyi; Hon. Sikiru Azeez; Hon. Lydia Agboola among others. 

Inaugurating the coordinators, leader of AMBO Grassrooters Team, Hon. Deji Agboola, said the motive was to mobilize massively and garner support for the candidacy of Oyebamiji across the local governments in the State. 

"The essence of this is to further up our game at ensuring the emergence of AMBO. So, we are here to further sell our candidate as it is already in the public knowledge that Oyebamiji remains the best, he is sellable , marketable and presentable. His trackrecords are clear testament to his competence and capacity to administer the affairs of our state. 

"We have been mobilizing our people through different platforms and this is to further demonstrate our commitment. We have replicated this in some local governments and i can tell you for a fact that as far as the contest is concerned, we are firmly prepared and we are faithful that by God's grace Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji will emerge as our candidate, come victorious and be sworn in by November, 2026 as Executive Governor of our", he added. 

In his remarks, Hon. Oye Adebayo, former Boripe Local Government Chairman, acknowledged the commitment of the AMBO's campaign team just as he declared the readiness of the leaders and members of the party to ensure his victory. 

He extolled Oyebamiji's virtues of dedication, loyalty, financial expertise, integrity, capacity, responsibility and responsiveness overtimes stating that his financial wizardry in both private and public sectors would help to advance the cause of the state when he becomes governor. 

Earlier in their separate remarks, APC Chairman, Boripe Local Government, Prince Mufutau Omogboye and Alhaji Rasak Oyediran expressed the firmness of the party in the Council noting that leadership and members of the party were solidly behind the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola and ready to work for whoever he presents to run for the coveted position. 

The newly inaugurated coordinators pledged their commitment and readiness to work for the emergence of AMBO in the next governorship election just as they implored the citizens and residents of the state to vote for Oyebamiji.
