INEC REC Dr. Mutiu Agboke Leads Sensitization Visit to Winners Chapel, Osogbo Ahead of 2025 CVR Exercise

The Hon. REC. Dr. Mutiu Olaleke Agboke, alongside the Management Team, paid a sensitization visit to Winners Chapel, Ring Road, Osogbo, today July 20, 2025, as part of efforts to raise awareness ahead of the upcoming Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise. 

Addressing the congregation, the Hon. REC emphasized the importance of active participation in the electoral process and urged eligible citizens, especially first-time voters and those who have changed their location, to take advantage of the registration opportunity. He explained the two phases of the CVR—beginning with the Pre-Online Registration from August 18, 2025, followed by the In-Person Registration commencing August 25, 2025, at all INEC Local Government Offices across the state.

The church leadership warmly welcomed the INEC team, recognizing the Commission's efforts to ensure inclusive and credible elections. The sensitization campaign aimed to bridge the gap between the electoral body and the public, encouraging civic responsibility and proper voter documentation. 

The Hon. REC reaffirmed INEC’s commitment to transparency, accessibility, and peaceful electoral conduct, calling on religious leaders and community stakeholders to spread the message and mobilize participation. 

The visit was concluded with the presentation of INEC Electoral Guidelines and Regulations to the State Pastor of the church
