Nollywood actress Dayo Amusa has firmly shut down false claims linking her to HIV. The rumors began after content creator Olaoluwa Segun listed her among celebrities allegedly living with the virus.
In response, Amusa took to Instagram to post a recent HIV negative test result, stating that critics can “choke on the truth.” She also warned that legal steps would be taken against anyone spreading defamatory content.
This isn't the first time Amusa has addressed her HIV status. In 2019, she publicly shared her negative status to encourage awareness and regular testing. Reinforcing that message, she again urged Nigerians to know their status and avoid stigmatizing others.
