The Barr. Abimbola Amusan 4 Rep Campaign Organization expresses profound appreciation to the good people, party faithful, stakeholders, leaders, youths, women, and supporters across Ayedaade, Irewole, and Isokan Federal Constituency for their overwhelming support and belief in our collective aspiration for credible and people-oriented representation.
However, we state categorically that we totally reject the purported results announced from the House of Representatives “primary election” purportedly conducted within the constituency.
What transpired across the constituency cannot be described as a democratic exercise in any genuine sense. In several wards, elections did not hold, party members were denied the opportunity to participate freely, and the entire process was characterized by obvious irregularities, manipulation, and a predetermined outcome.
It is unfortunate that figures and results allegedly emerging from wards where no actual accreditation, voting process, or transparent collation took place are now being circulated to the public. This clearly suggests that results were written to favor a preferred candidate rather than produced through a free and fair electoral process.
The Barr. Amusan 4 Rep Campaign Organization condemns this charade in its entirety and calls on the appropriate authorities within the party to thoroughly investigate the irregularities that marred the process.
We remain committed to justice, fairness, democratic principles, and the collective interest of the APC and genuine party members across Ayedaade, Irewole, and Isokan Federal Constituency.
We urge all our supporters to remain peaceful, calm, and law-abiding.
