The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Global Ambassadors write to you with urgency, loyalty, and a single demand: *do not sacrifice APC’s chance of winning Osun West Senatorial District on the altar of backroom deals and political trading.*
The people of Osun West have spoken. Their choice is clear, their mandate is visible, and their resolve is firm. That choice is *Brigadier General Biodun Bashir Adewinmbi (Rtd) for Osun West Senatorial District*.
1. *He is credible.* A career officer with an unblemished record of service to Nigeria. His name carries weight where APC needs it most – trust, discipline, and integrity.
2. *He is prepared.* General Adewinmbi has mobilized, engaged, and built a structure that connects directly with the masses across Osun West. He is not a project imposed from above. He is the candidate the people built from below.
3. *He is the people’s choice.* Any attempt to deny him the ticket in favor of a candidate who lacks grassroots acceptance is a direct insult to the electorate. It tells the people their votes, their voices, and their loyalty do not matter.
Let us be blunt:
If APC leadership trades away this ticket, you trade away Osun West. The masses will not follow a candidate forced on them. They will abstain, they will resist, and they will punish the party at the polls. The opposition will capitalize on our division, and a winnable seat will slip into enemy hands.
We remind you of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s political doctrine: *respect the people, reward loyalty, and protect the party’s winning chances.* Denying General Adewinmbi is the exact opposite of that doctrine.
*Our warning is clear:*
1. Do not hand Osun West to the opposition by internal sabotage.
2. Do not test the loyalty of the masses who have already decided.
3. Do not allow personal interests and political horse-trading to override the mandate of the people.
BATGA stands with the people of Osun West. We stand with Brigadier General Biodun Bashir Adewinmbi. Any decision that sidelines him will be seen as a betrayal of the party’s grassroots base and a deliberate move to weaken APC in the 2027 calculations.
