The Executive Director, Marine and Operations of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Engr. Olalekan Abdulrahman Badmus, FNSE, has extended warm felicitations to the Ataoja of Osogbo Land, His Royal Majesty, Oba Jimoh Oyetunji Olanipekun Larooye II, on the joyous occasion of his birthday anniversary.
In a congratulatory message made available to journalists in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, Engr. Badmus described the revered monarch as a visionary traditional ruler, a symbol of peace, and a father figure whose reign has continued to inspire unity, growth, and development across Osogbo and beyond.
According to the NPA Executive Director, Oba Larooye II has consistently demonstrated uncommon leadership qualities and an unwavering commitment to the welfare, progress, and prosperity of the people of Osogbo Land. He noted that the monarch’s passion for community development, youth empowerment, cultural preservation, and peaceful coexistence has further strengthened the status of Osogbo as one of the most respected ancient towns in Nigeria.
Engr. Badmus commended the Ataoja for his fatherly role and for always placing the interests of his people above personal considerations. He stated that the monarch’s wisdom, humility, and dedication to service have earned him admiration and respect from sons and daughters of Osogbo both at home and in the diaspora.
