The Special Adviser to the Chairman of Egbedore Local Government, Hon. Olusanjo Fajobi, popularly known as Fajoe, has warmly welcomed the Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, alongside members of the party's Campaign Council to Egbedore Local Government for the inauguration of Unit Canvassers ahead of the August 15, 2026 governorship election in Osun State.
Hon. Fajobi described the visit and inauguration exercise as a strategic step towards strengthening the party's grassroots structure and ensuring effective voter mobilisation across all polling units within the local government area.
In a statement made available to journalists in Osogbo on Monday, the APC chieftain congratulated Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji on the successful inauguration of the Unit Canvassers, noting that the initiative demonstrates the party's commitment to reaching every ward, unit and community with its message of progress, development and inclusive governance.
According to him, the Unit Canvassers will play a vital role in engaging voters at the grassroots, enlightening residents on the programmes and vision of the APC governorship candidate, and ensuring massive participation in the forthcoming election.
Hon. Fajobi expressed confidence in the leadership capacity, experience and political pedigree of Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji, stressing that his emergence as the APC flag bearer has further energized party members and supporters across Osun State.
