As the August 15 Osun State Governorship Election draws closer, frontline grassroots mobilizer and 2027 House of Representatives hopeful for Osogbo Federal Constituency, Prince Dr. Abdulrasheed Muideen Romeo, has continued to expand support for the governorship aspiration of Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) through a series of strategic grassroots engagements aimed at consolidating the All Progressives Congress (APC)'s presence across Osogbo Federal Constituency.
In continuation of his sustained grassroots campaign, Prince Romeo sponsored another Street and Market Storm, a large-scale mobilization exercise spearheaded by Prince Nurudeen Ajibola "Mátànmí" and members of the Romeo Movement. The team visited several strategic locations, including Popo, Ọja Ọba, Ìsàlẹ̀ Ọ̀ṣun, Oke Baale, and the Arogunmosa community, where they interacted with traders, transport workers, artisans, youths, women, and other residents, canvassing support for AMBO and highlighting his vision for inclusive development, economic prosperity, and people-centred governance in Osun State.
The outreach witnessed enthusiastic participation from residents, many of whom expressed optimism about the APC's chances in the forthcoming election. The exercise also served as an avenue to encourage voter participation, emphasizing the need for supporters to translate their enthusiasm into votes on Saturday, August 15, to ensure AMBO emerges victorious at the polls.
This latest mobilization is a continuation of Prince Romeo's sustained grassroots strategy. Only a few weeks ago, he embarked on a similar market and street storm across major markets, towns, and communities within the Osogbo Federal Constituency, where he distributed cash support and food items to traders, artisans, commercial operators, and vulnerable residents. That intervention was widely applauded as a demonstration of his longstanding commitment to grassroots empowerment and community development.
Political observers have noted that Prince Romeo's consistent presence at the grassroots has further energized the APC's campaign machinery within the federal constituency.
