The All Progressives Congress (APC) Osogbo Federal Constituency campaign council has commended its members, supporters and sympathizers in Orolu local government council areas, Ifon, for trooping out en masse yesterday, during a "walk to win" exercise to support the party's governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) in the August 15 guber election.
The party said "with the mammoth crowd and the way people of Orolu trooped out to take part in the 'walk to win' exercise to support Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) signifies that the APC has won the guber poll even before the election date.
This commendation message was contained in a statement issued by the secretary, Media and Publicity Committee, hon Alao Waheed, and signed by its chairman, Hon Kunle Akande and made available to the Pressmen on Wednesday in Osogbo the state capital.
Hon Akintunde maintained that the kind of support that people of Orolu have been giving to the APC guber candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji, gives confidence to the party that APC will record a landslide victory in the August 15 election while the Ademola Adeleke-led PDPACCORD will be totally crushed and defeated.
He maintained that, people of Osogbo Federal Constituency should, as a matter of necessity, see themselves as a vehicles for change in government from the "Akotiletas'', misgovernment and corruption brought by the Ademola Adeleke-led PDPACCORD and prepared to participate in the movement that will usher in a progressive state which will bring about purposeful and people's oriented government.
According to the statement, "the APC government will bring purposeful government where citizens of the state will experience unusual development that will transform the state from poverty- stricken and environmentally degraded place into a bubbling economy, a vibrant clean and healthy atmosphere and a magnet for local and international investors.
The APC Osogbo Federal Constituency campaign council, therefore, enjoined the people of Orolu as well as the entire people of the state to keep supporting the party for the purpose of experiencing unprecedented developmental projects in all the nooks and crannies of the state.
