It was carnival like, yesterday in Ifon Osun, the headquarters of Orolu local government council areas as a 'sea of heads' of broom wilding party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) stakeholders, members, lovers and supporters trouped out in thousands and engaged in a massive "walk to win" rally organised by the Orolu APC in support of the party's governorship candidate in the August 15 gubernatorial election, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO).
The crowd was mammoth and very orderly as lovers and supporters of the progressive party enthusiastically moving, singing and dancing during the 'walk to win' road show rally which lasted for about 4 hours commenced at exactly 9am from the APC secretariat, Ooye square - Adetula junction - Dagbolu -Janta - Olufon palace - jamodo - Ayetoro - Ajegunle - Bolounduro - Obada market and terminating at Ooye square.
The great "walk to win", no doubt signifies the determination of the people of Orolu and indeed the entire people of Osun to put an end to a dancing regime by sending Ademola Adeleke back to Atlanta Georgia through ballot so as to pave way for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji who is coming with government unusual where unprecedented developmental projects will be experienced by all and sundry and in the all nooks and of Osun.
The former Executive chairman, Orolu local government and Orolu APC Elders' forum chairman, Alh Rasheed Ayoola Oyedele explained that the 'walk to win' exercise organised by the Orolu APC is walking for change of government from the 'Akotiletas' to the AMBO -led APC administration, and is also a clarion call for the entire people of Orolu as well as people of Osun to get seriously involved in the rescuing Osun state from corruption, poverty and insecurity and misgovernment which the PDPACCORD led administration has imposed on Osun people by the 'Akotiletas' since 2022.
While addressing the mammoth crowd, the former 3 terms member of OSHA, Hon kamil Tope Oyedele, commend sns and daughters as well as members and lovers of the APC in Orolu for coming out in large numbers to express their unalloyed support and love for AMBO, adding that the "walk to win" rally showed that APC is grounded in Orolu and is the party to win the forthcoming election for Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.
Kamil maintained that, with the mammoth crowd recorded, there's no doubt that Orolu will be delivered for AMBO in the August 15 guber election, urging members, lovers and supporters of the APC and entire people of Orolu not to be deceived by any frivolous politicians that might want to buy their cards, enjoined students not to commit academic suicide but vote massively for the APC gubernatorial candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji in the August 15 election.
He explained that it is vividly cleared that in the last three and half years of this administration, Orolu has not benefited any significant developmental projects compared to the APC-led administration where standard maternity health centre is built in each and every wards in Orolu and equipped with drugs and incentives, more than 15 kilometers of roads were reconstructed, school buildings were built, security of lives and properties was taken as a priority, 20,000 youths were empowered through OYES, O'clean, O'reap and many others, but today in Osun, what Ademola Adeleke brought is dancing styles instead of developmental projects.
Also speaking, the executive chairman of Orolu local government, Hon Abolade Nureni Oneday and his counterpart from Orolu South LCDA, Hon Akinwumi Kasim. also commended APC lovers in Orolu for trooping out en masse for the walk to win exercise, enjoined them to canvass heavily for the APC in order for Orolu to record a landslide victory for AMBO in August 15 governorship election.
Abolade promised APC members and the entire people of Orolu that in no distant time, developmental projects will be experienced by all and sundry and in the all nooks and crannies of Orolu for the betterment of us all and generations yet to come.
The APC chairman in Orolu, Hon Awolade Najeemdeen and the deputy state youth leader, Hon Wasiu Ibrahim in their separate words enjoined APC lovers to ensure that they keep their voters' to properly keep their voters' cards in order not to be denied from performing their civic responsibility.
Music was supplied by fuji musician, Okiki,who entertained APC members and lovers to the fullest through out the exercise with melodious songs praising Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji.
