Nigerian rapper and content creator Chinedu, popularly known as Triple Pin, has opened up about the frightening experience aboard an Enugu Air flight that veered off the runway while landing at Benin Airport.
Speaking in a video shared on his Instagram page after the incident, Triple Pin described the ordeal as a life-changing moment that made him appreciate life in a new way.
According to him, heavy rainfall greatly reduced visibility throughout the flight, leaving passengers anxious as the aircraft struggled to land safely. He explained that the pilot made several attempts to position the plane for landing before it eventually lost control and left the runway.
Triple Pin also expressed gratitude that the aircraft did not catch fire, suggesting that the downpour may have helped prevent a more tragic outcome.
Recalling the incident, he said the plane kept circling in the air while the pilot searched for a safe landing approach. Moments later, the aircraft veered off course, causing panic among everyone on board as loud noises filled the cabin.
Reflecting on the near-death experience, the entertainer said he never imagined surviving such an incident, adding that it made him realize how quickly life can change. Fortunately, he escaped without any injuries.
