The Governorship Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun State, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji popularly called AMBO has assured the residents of Ife-south local government of his readiness to restore electricity supply in the area when elected Governor.
Oyebamiji bemoaned palpable rots in the current government across sectors of the economy and promised an improved welfare and revamp of agribusinesses when he becomes the Governor.
This is just as traditional rulers such as the Olubosin of Ifetedo, Oba Akinola Oyetade Akinrera; Olu of Ayepe Olode, Oba Abdul-Yekeen Olayemi Omisore; Ogunsua of Modakeke, Oba Joseph Olubiyi Toriola and Salu of Edunabon, Oba Adesoji Kehinde Oladepo, blessed Oyebamiji's path to victory.
Addressing the ecstatic party supporters and residents at the palaces and venues of the campaigns, Oyebamiji said his manifesto christened "prosperity agenda" had captured restoration of electricity and full generation of independent power plant as catalyst to drive commerce, industry and businesses in the state.
Oyebamiji who described Osun as an agrarian state promised to prioritise critical sectors most significantly infrastructural development, agriculture, commerce, security, youths development and empowerment when elected Governor.
He berated the incumbent government for its lack of direction, vision and competence, capacity and administrative Knowhow to run the state saying no effort would be spared to rebuild the state from the drift of collapse the current government has plunged it into.
Oyebamiji who spoke extensively on his prosperity agenda for the goodness of the people of the state said the time has come to collectively build a prosperous Osun.
In their separate remarks, the traditional rulers, Olubosin of Ifetedo, Oba Akinola Oyetade Akinrera; Olu of Ayepe Olode, Oba Yekeen Omisore; Ogunsua of Modakeke, Oba Joseph Olubiyi Toriola; and Salu of Edunabon, Oba Adesoji Kehinde Oladepo expressed confidence in Oyebamiji's outstanding trackrecords.
The monarchs showered encomiums on Oyebamiji for his impressive strides while serving the state at different capacities praying for his victory at the poll.
