The family of late actress Temitope Osoba has announced arrangements for her burial.
In a notice posted on her official Instagram page on Friday, the family said Osoba will be buried on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at Saint James Anglican Church, Iperu Remo, Ogun State.
The statement also specified a dress code of white for mourners attending the service.
The announcement comes hours after friends of the actress announced a candlelight and artiste night in her honour.
The event, tagged ‘An Evening of Love, Music & Memories’, is scheduled to hold on Tuesday, August 11, at LTV 8, Blueroof, Ikeja, Lagos.
Osoba died at the age of 40. Her passing was announced on Wednesday by colleague Alesh Sanni, who described her as his ‘dearest sister’.
The actress, known for her roles in Yoruba-language Nollywood films, had spoken publicly about her battle with cancer two years ago.
She announced her return to acting in August 2025, saying the experience had given her a renewed focus on healing and advocacy.
The family had earlier urged the public to disregard speculation about the circumstances of her death and asked for privacy during the mourning period.
