The APC Senatorial Candidate for Osun Central, Kunle Rasheed Adegoke, SAN (KRAD), has received prominent Accord Party chieftain Engr. Sola Oyewumi into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The development took place during KRAD’s engagement with residents of Abidogun-Alare Community, Zones 1 to 11, following an invitation by Engr. Kasim Afolabi.
Oyewumi, alongside his supporters, pledged their support for APC governorship candidate Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO) and KRAD ahead of the August 15 governorship and senatorial elections.
The meeting also featured concerns from community leaders over poor roads, inadequate electricity and street lighting. Responding to the concerns, KRAD donated solar-powered street lights to the community as an immediate intervention.
KRAD also assured residents that AMBO has plans to improve electricity supply and deploy federal allocations and other resources toward meaningful development, including the empowerment of women and other residents.
The engagement further strengthened APC’s grassroots mobilisation in Osun Central ahead of the elections.
