The Alubarika Movement, led by its Chairman, Alhaji Kehinde Olamolu, on Saturday, October 31, joined its principal, Distinguished Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, Ph.D., National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alongside other prominent political stakeholders, at the official inauguration of the Osun State chapter of the PBAT Door-to-Door Movement, including the inauguration of its executive structures and distribution of campaign vehicles and materials in support of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima’s re-election bid in 2027.
The Alubarika delegation comprised members of its leadership, including Rt. Hon. Akintunde Adegboye, Hon. Adeoye Adelakun, Hon. Rafiu Fatoki, Hon. Yinusa Adebisi and Hon. Jayeola Alagbada, alongside other management members and supporters who joined the principal at the gathering.
Speaking at the event, Senator Basiru highlighted key achievements of the Tinubu administration, particularly the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), ongoing federal infrastructure projects across Osun State, increased allocations to state governments and improvements in the economy. He urged residents to recognise these interventions and reciprocate through their votes in the 2027 presidential election.
The event attracted prominent political figures, including Governor Adeleke, represented by his deputy, Prince Kola Adewusi; former Governor and Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Adegboyega Oyetola, represented by the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO); and the movement’s Grand Patron, High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), represented by Dr. Kestin Pondi. A major highlight was the presentation of 30 campaign vehicles equipped with public-address systems, generators and amplifiers to strengthen grassroots mobilisation across the state.
For the Alubarika Movement, participation in the inauguration reaffirms its commitment to supporting its principal, Senator Basiru, and contributing meaningfully to the collective mobilisation efforts towards President Tinubu’s re-election in 2027.
