As Amotekun corps, state of Osun continues to sustain the tempo of preventing community spreading of COVID 19, the state owned Security Outfit today intercepted another set of 23 boys from northern part of the country, who attempted to beat the security and enter the state.
Some of them claimed they were from Sokoto state, some from Kebbi, while others said they were from Kano state.
It was learnt that the boys were loaded in four pickup Vehicles, two of which carried foodstuffs, while the rest two conveyed only passengers.
The two vehicles with loads of foodstuffs were allowed in, while the other two were sent back with the Twenty Three boys.
Men of Amotekun Manning Osun/Oyo boundary at Ifon Orolu then led the twenty three boys in two vehicles out of the state of Osun, to Ogbomoso in Oyo state; where they were shown the way back to where they came from.
It would be recalled that Amotekun Corps, state of Osun had, last week, intercepted about 240 boys from the north trying to sneak into the state, and were subsequently sent back to their respective states.
Those who spoke with our media team commended Governor ADEGBOYEGA OYETOLA for his avowed commitment to the security of lives and property of the residents of the state of Osun; urging the governor not to relent in supporting Amotekun corps to record more successes#
