The former State of Osun Governor and minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola has congratulated his successor in office, Alhaji Adeboyega Oyetola on his second year anniversary as the executive governor of the state.
In a letter personally signed by the Minister and posted on his official and verified Facebook account and Twitter account, the Minister said that despite the inclement national financial weather, COVID 19 pandemic and other non so significant issues, Governor Oyetola has weathered the storm admirably and steadied the ship of the state successfully for the past two years.
Ogbeni Aregbesola also used the congratulatory message to encourage the governor to be prepared for more challenges ahead as he steps into the third year which may include pressure to deliver more dividends of Democracy and increased demands from the political system.
He however added that he’s rest assured that Governor Oyetola will cope nicely.
He further advised the governor to make the welfare of the people his biggest concern, stating that the people are the reason the state is existing and without the people there won’t be any government.
