All genuflections and adoration to God almighty, the sustainer and created of heaven and earth and all that abounds in it, your rare blessings and privilege over our lives in the just student's union election remains unquantifiable.
I am more than willing to start highlighting how elated I am before, during and after the historic election victory that produced me as the president, students union, Osun state university 2020/2021 academic session.
No doubt, we have endured a very tortuous journey together before we arrived this very new high. Our past and present comrades has put in a great sacrifice. The entire students of UNIOSUN will forever appreciate the foundation you have laid for us, we will consolidate on this and ensure we build on all our electioneering promises.
The crux of this speech will be largely appreciative to all the laudable effort from the school management under the indefatigable leadership of our enigmatic vice chancellor, Prof Labo Popoola, The D.S.A, Dr. S. Abiona and the entire management of our university. Surely, I can not thank you enough, and all the lucky contestants in the election - no victor, no vanquished, we are all winners, and I'm ready to work with all of you with total openness and humility.
Let me assure you that this victory is not for some selected faculties of campuses, it is a victory for all uniosun students, we are all rightful owner of this mandate and together we will build an unforgettable students union. I am a president for all and I promise to serve with all my strengths and experience.
Going forward, let's get ready for the herculean business ahead of us as we prepare to build a bold, effective and responsive students union.
