The Osun Amotekun Corps in the night of Tuesday 2nd of March, 2021 dislodged the armed robbers barricade the road leading to ibokun from Osogbo after the field commander Comrade Amitolu Shittu received a distress call from the residents of Ibokun who called the attention of the field commander to the robbery operation on the road, the Amotekun Corps swang into action immediately to dislodged the robbers.
The prompt intervention of Amotekun Corps save the passerby of the road against the barricade of the armed robbers who killed one of the passenger of the vehicle that is heading to Esa-Oke from Osogbo, the name of the killed victim is unknown till will gathered this news.
In the information gathered by our reporter from the scene of the attack, one of the residents of a town close to ibokun, who pleaded anonymity, made us know that one of the vehicle attacked was coming from Osogbo and his heading to Esa-Oke before he was attacked by the robbers where one of the passenger of the vehicle was killed by the robbers.
He highly praised the Field Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps for his prompt intervention of his team to save residents and passerby of the area on the attack by the robbers.
The remains of the passenger killed by the armed robbers has been deposited at Morgue of Osun State Teaching Hospital, Asubiaro, Osogbo.
