The visit was to demonstrate their full support towards success of the intake training.
Speaking during the visit on behalf of others, Chairman of Ejigbo Central LCDA, Hon Olayanju Kolapo expressed satisfaction on the training camp.
According to him, "Osun has been the most peaceful state in Nigeria and we want to maintain that status quo by join hands with other sisters security to secure the State.
"One of the things that is affecting our society is corruption and we need to tackle it with dedication and commitment to service.
"In whatever you are doing think of tomorrow, because you too can become Chairman of a local government after your retirement. He said.
He also prayed God to strengthen the corp members and leadership of Amotekun Corps in the State.
In his remarks, the Osun Amotekun Corps Board Chairman, Brig. Gen. Isah Aderibigbe appreciated the genuine spirit attached to the visit by the council chairmen.
He also thanked the local government chairmen for deeming it worthy to visit the corps in the training camp, describing it as "a great honour."
"I want to assure you that after they completed their training we expect men of timber and caliber which would use their experience learnt in the camp to protect the lives and property of the citizens and residents of Osun. He said.
He also made it known that there are special instructors on ground to train the new Amotekun intake to discharge their duties as expected.
They were received in presence of the Field Commander, Comrade Amitolu Shittu, Hon. Olubowale Olufemi, Board Member, Camp Commandant, Captain Ajibolu Fatia, Admin. Mr Fayoyiwa Adewale and others.
