Osun State Deputy Governor,Mr. Benedict Adegboyega Alabi on Monday, paid a condolence vist to the Field Commander of Osun Amotekun Corps, Comrade Amitolu Shittu over the death of his mother, Alhaja Ayisatu Abeo Morawo Shittu.
Alhaja Ayisatu,the matriarch of Shittu Eyii of Ile Oloya's Compound, Isale Osun,Osogbo,passed on at the age of 94 years on Saturday evening.
Mr.Alabi, who arrived Comrade Amitolu Shittu's residence in Asubiaro, Osogbo, on Monday evening after the end of State Executive Council Meeting presided over by Governor Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, alongside few members of the State Executive Council.
The members of State Executive Council who were in the entourage of State Deputy Governor including; Commissioner for Health,Dr. Rafiu Isamotu, Commissioner for Home Affairs, Hon. Tajudeen Lawal, Special Adviser on Public Health to Governor Gboyega Oyetola, Dr. Olasiji Olamiju (Akol) and Special Adviser to the Governor on Water Resources, Engineer Adeniran Ibitoye(Kilomodemo).
Alabi, who disclosed that he learnt about Alhaja Shittu's death on social media platform,described the death of Alhaja Ayisatu as a Colossus loss to the family and entire good people of Osun State.
He disclosed that the death of Alhaja Ayisatu Shittu was painful no matter her age, describing late Alhaja Shittu as a quintessential woman of virtue who gave birth to great children such as Comrade Amitolu Shittu and other successful siblings.
Alabi then advocated for love among the siblings of late Alhaja Ayisatu Shittu, praying to Allah repose her soul by granting her Aljanaah Fridaous.
While commending the Deputy Governor for the visit,the Head of the family and Veteran Journalist,Mr. Smollete Shittu Alamu maintained that Mama live a fulfilled life of a rare good mother by training all her children to be successful in their choosen career.
